My musical journey began as a percussionist in the local brass band at Stord, a town in the Sunnhordland region of western Norway. Over time, I became increasingly active as a musician in several brass bands in and around Stord.

During upper secondary school, my interest in composition grew, and I started writing small works for piano. I subsequently completed both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and also studied composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to work with a number of distinguished composers, including Henrik Hellstenius, Asbjørn Schaathun, and Jérôme Combier.

I am currently based in Oslo, where I am active both as a composer and as a member of various ensembles, including Ensemble Lime.

From an aesthetic perspective, my work explores processes and structures as a means of shaping both the global and local temporal dimensions of a composition. I am often drawn to music that exists beyond metric grids and is not driven by clearly defined rhythmic layers or pulse. Music that flows through time and moves in a more fluid and malleable way is a defining characteristic of my artistic practice.

My music has been performed at several festivals, including Ultima and Commute 8 Festival, and I have collaborated with ensembles and orchestras such as the Norwegian Wind Ensemble, Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag, Orkest De Ereprijs, and the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra
